With 78 days to go to the beginning of the World University Championship, this Wednesday, May 5th at 15:30 (local time), Porto will host the public presentation of the 4th World University Rugby Sevens Championship. On the same day the event draw will take place deciding the groups formation with the countries that will attend the championship.
The Rector of the University of Porto will host this first official ceremony of the 2010 World University Rugby Sevens Championship. The presentation will count with the presence of Secretary of State of Youth and Sports Laurentino Dias, and a few other national and international sport authorities.
The teams to be drawn in the groups are:
Men’s Teams(20):
Portugal, Russia, Australia, Canada, Spain, Great- Britain, France, Norway, Kenya, Lebanon, Italy, Morocco, Japan, South Africa, Poland, Ukraine, Belgium, Hungary, Chinese Taipei and United States America.
Women’s Teams (12):
Portugal, Guam, Canada, Spain, Great-Britain, France, Norway, Italy, South Africa, Ukraine, Brazil and Russia.
