Mixed Podium
HONG KONG – On July 6th, after three days of competition, the Championship marked its perfect end with the Final of Men’s Singles Event. The day was been full of great matches between the teams. The competition venue has also recorded the most spectators and the best atmosphere when the Finals went on.
The Awarding Ceremony was held in the Competition Venue as well, right after the champion’s match. Besides the medals, each winning team was awarded a trophy.
The Closing Ceremony followed the Awarding Ceremony, starting with the Closing Speech from the OC President, Dr. Patrick CHAN. He said he hoped all the participants enjoyed their stay in Hong Kong and hoped that this championship could be a great memory for all the participating student-athletes. In his closing speech, Dr. LEE Tien Rein, AUSF Vice-President, expressed his gratitude on behalf of AUSF to the OC and all universities in Hong Kong, who were involved in the preparation of this championship. With the lively bright rhythm of AUSF Anthem, the 2nd Asian University Table Tennis Championship ended.
