Team Ukraine celebrates its gold

BRAGA – After eight days of competition at the 13th World University Futsal Championship after 47 games (37 men and 10 women) and many, many hours of play, reached the end of the tournament that brought the final classification.

Men’s Competition: 1st Ukraine, 2nd Russia; 3rd Portugal; 4th Thailand; 5th Brazil; 6th Spain; 7th Azerbaijan; 8th China; 9th Kazakhstan; 10th Poland; 11th Czech Republic, 12th France, 13th Israel, Oman (disqualified).
Women’s Competition: 1st Brazil, 2nd Spain, 3rd Portugal, 4th Russia, 5th France.

After the awards ceremony, the WUC ended with the ceremonial ritual of FISU, with the passage of the FISU flag to the next host to receive this FISU event, i.e. Malaga, Spain in 2014.
