HOHHOT – On 12 June, the preliminaries, semi-finals and finals of the men’s 87kg, 74kg, and women’s 73kg, 62kg category at the 13th WUC Taekwondo in Hohhot, China were completed.
Korea got the gold medal in the men’s 74 kg, Thailand won the silver, China and United States of America were tied for the bronze medal.   
Sabit Bugrahan Karakas from Turkey got the gold medal in the men’s 87 kg, leaving the silver to Hohamed Ayman from Egypt. Cyprus and Poland settled for the bronze medal.

In the women’s 73kg, Li Hailing from China beat her Turkish opponent with a strong reverse kick and won the title. Brazil and Korea got the bronze medal.
Pei Ying Wu from Chinese Taipei got the gold medal in the women’s 62kg, Xue Yanhong from China took the silver medal and competitors from Thailand and Spain were tied for the bronze medal.
