MONTPELLIER – The Organising Committee of the 13th FISU Forum is currently in full preparation mode to welcome all delegations from 4 to 9 July, 2016 in Montpellier, in the south of France. On 14 January, an important meeting was held at the Rectory of Montpellier. During this meeting, members of the Local Organising Committee headed by Arnaud Richard, were able to visit facilities that will host the opening dinner and discussed various technical issues. This meeting was also attended by Aline Autin, head of communications of the Academy of Montpellier; Laurent Thieffaine, Director of the Rector’s (Mrs Pellec Muller) office and Philippe Rolland in charge of logistics. These meetings made it possible to prepare the inspection visit by representatives of FISU which is planned for the period between 9 and 11 February in Montpellier. The inspection visit will also be attended by representatives of the French National Federation of University Sports.
