13 December 2024

FISU and the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) join efforts in promoting fair play, sportsmanship and ethical behaviour. In one month, you’ll be able to nominate a candidate from the upcoming FISU Games to receive the award.

As part of their joint efforts to promote fair play and ethical behaviour in university sports, the International University Sports Federation and the International Fair Play Committee will present a Fair Play Award at the set to kick-off in one month.

Both organisations already celebrated exceptional gestures of fair play during the last two FISU Games, in Chengdu and in Lake Placid, rewarding individuals and a team with an award but also with increased visibility.

All participants to the Torino 2025 FISU World University Games as well as the public will be able to submit nominations – the process will be shared in due-time. A jury from FISU and CIFP will then determine the winner, who will receive their award in Piemonte.

is an IOC and UNESCO-recognised organisation established in 1963 in Paris. Its mission is to spread ideals of fair play via recognising exceptional acts of sportsmanship as well as developing and promoting a better understanding of fair play values and preventing adverse behaviour.
