This fast paced ice sport has its roots claimed by England, Russia, and the Netherlands, and sees 11 skaters aside play on an ice surface of similar size to a football pitch. This FISU recognised sport was an optional sport at the Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade, where competition took place at the beautiful Yenisey Stadium. Sweden claimed women’s gold, while Russia took top spot in the men’s event.
